SLO MSBL ALL STAR GAME 2025
The league is happy to introduce the SLO MSBL All Star Game to the schedule for this year. This fun exhibition allows the league to highlight some of the outstanding players that have made big contributions to their teams over the 2025 season.
Selection Format
- Teams have been divided into two groups, the Mountain and the Coast
- The teams will be managed by the two managers of the regular season #1 seeds, Boz Barron and Bryan Frankhauser
- Each team will elect 2 players to be their All Stars and to play in the game. Please select alternates in case your selected All Stars can not participate. Teams may use whatever method they choose to decide their 2 All Stars (ex. vote, manager selection, etc)
- The All Star managers will select additional players to their teams from the remaining players in their group to bring roster size to 15.
- No league team can have more than 5 players on the All Star roster, excludeds All Star managers
- The commissioner (league president) reserves the right to appoint 1 additional player to each roster if he deems a player deserving of recognition was left off the rosters
- Please submit your picks to Ron by Sept 7, 2025
Game Format
All league rules shall apply except as follows:
- Game will be at 1pm on September 14, 2025 at Coast Union High School
- The game will be 9 innings, no time limit
- Game will have only 1 umpire
- Game can end in a tie, no extra innings
- The “5 player under 30” roster rule will not apply to rosters, however..
- Teams can still only have 3 total innings pitched by under 30 players
- Teams will be required to have 5 players 30 or over on the field at all times
- The batting order must include entire roster
- No pitcher may pitch more that 2 innings each, except the starter who may pitch 3 innings
